![]() Jonathan Ganz wrote Carter will win for best EX president. He was a good guy who was incapable of doing a good job. If he was incapable of doing a good job, how can history rate him highly? Clinton's success had nothing to do with the Rep. Congress. It had everything to do with his motivation to get things done. The Rep. Congress didn't come along until well into his presidency. Wrong. It happened at the next election. 2 years into his 8 years. It's ok, Jon, no conservative ever believes a liberal will change his mind even when presented with logic and clear facts. Keep believing all this nonsense. Fortunately most of the people in the country still have sense. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Bart Senior" wrote Carter? Carter gets the award for President who kept the best track of who was using the white house tennis court! Of those listed, only Reagan is noteworthy. Clinton's "success" was entirely due to a Republican Congress. Jonathan Ganz wrote Unlikely... probably Clinton, Reagan, or Nixon. Even LBJ was better. Carter will win for the best ex-pres. "Bart Senior" wrote In the future historians will rate GWB as one of the best presidents we've ever had. |
