when you see women in high heels, short skirts with no stockings, mostly bare
arms on the street before 7:00 in the morning in a sleet storm you tend to
remember seeing them. I also wondered at the time why there? what trade could
they drum up in that area of town?

In the Bronx, they huddle around a fire in a 55 gal. drum.
