How Many Anchors Part II
Let's not play that game Bob.... you know darned well which trip I'm
referring to! It's not like you've done very many overnight passages or extended bay sailing. I did 5 weekend trips last season, Mooron. Norwalk, Oyster Bay, NY Harbor & Jersey City, and so on. Close short trips, but the best we could do with Suzanne in school. You can move you boat anywhere, but it still doesn't make you anything better than someone who sails on a mile wide lake. Using the boat is the key and I use mine more than most folks. You seem pretty bitter these days because your boat isn't getting much use of any kind. I think we both know that. RB |

People who like to sail actually enjoy the sailing for itself. If | you feel the need to be anywhere else perhaps you don't like the sailing as | much. Good Grief..... following that logic you may as well put your boat in a swimming pool and turn on a fan. CM |

Looks like fun for someone who likes to sail. Here's a wakeup call for you, Mooron. Some people sail all their lives on small boats on small lakes. There's a couple with a Catalina 34 at my club. They do an rare weekend local trip, but mostly daysail with their son. They love it. The thrill of sailing is something they adore, even when it's nearby. They love sailing much more than drinking you see. See if you can wrap your mind around that one. Have some coffee. Try harder. RB |

Combine it with sailing in new areas and the feast is complete. | See if you can wrap your mind around that one. Have some coffee. Try harder. I'm having a high test Timmy's at the moment.... x-large, 3 sugar and a generous dollop of fine Lamb's Navy Overproof Rum to spice it to perfection. I wish you could understand the fine nautical custom of splicing the main brace..... some liquid courage might assist you in expanding your severely limited sailing horizons Bob! Have you ever sailed anywhere but the LIS??? CM |

That may well be... but none of them seem inclined to promote and advertise
their every outing as an excursion of reportable merit. I think this is certainly "your" problem. I'm just sharing with the group. If you ever sail, perhaps you'd be kind enough to do the same? Even Scotty Potty posts pics of his boat sailing. Somehow this threatens you and I think we both know why. Mooron, you're not sailing. You're not sailing and you resent others for being able to sail, even on a modest basis. Admit it. I'll understand. RB |

Have you ever sailed anywhere but the LIS???
Sure...Jersey Coast, NY Harbor, Trinidad and Tobago, North Carolina, quite a few lakes...why do you ask? Does that mean something? Please explain??? Mooron...it's a deep grave you've dug yourself. I'm loving every minute of it!!! RB |
