Default No Sailing For Me!

The marina called this morning. They were going to launch my Siedleman
30 finally, but when the crane started lifting they heard serious
cracking, till the crane stopped, the one strap went right through the
thin hull of my poor boat. Woe is me. What will I do now?

I think Jim Cate has a newish Mac 26 he is willing to let go for about $2,500,
with the trailor and nearly new engine.

Loc0, check the headers. I had a great sail yesterday on my nice yacht.
Seemed like the wind, or gas prices kept stinkpotters at the dock.

It was the wind. I sailed most of the day under main alone as I had 10 people
on board, including an 84 year old grandpa. Only a few fishing boats were out.
Pleasure power boats stayed home.

Cool. With the current gas prices maybe this summer's holiday weekends will be
free of all the 3 times a season powerboats that go out for the day.

Hmmm they still use A4's in cruisers?

Oz1.

a "stinkpotter" in American means a powerboter. The vast majority of
powerbotes in America have gas engines, for the lower initial cost, the lower
maintenance costs, far less weight, and for higher speeds under WFO.

Is Bob going off the deep end?

Is Gilligan losing his touch?

Has alt.sailing.asa come to the end of the road?

We expect better quality impersonations than this pathetic effort!
