Lincoln vs Subaru

WRX STI on the left, Lincoln LS on the right...

0-60 4.3 6.7
1/4 mile 13.3 15.2
SP 0.89G 0.84G

Care to compare real world driving in the snow or rain? The Subaru Forester XT
is also faster and outhandles the Lincoln LS. Look it up. The STI wins races
STOCK. The LS is popular with old women at the Roosevelt mall. It's also a
desperate hunk of American junk with poor resale. You can look that up as well.

SLAM!!! BAM!!! Hoooh ahhh!

And this is in alt.sailing.asa because? Is the Lincoln still considered a
land yacht?

With it's 0-60 speed, more like a a barge. Have a look at it's top speed for a
real laugh.
90K on the 1st Subaru now and it's NEVER been in the shop. A great car.
Meanwhile...poor Loco, still angry about my better boat, continues to chirp
about the ladder!!!! He'll probably go on a killing spree when I take the 34XL!
Bwahahahaha!

You have old LS numbers Bub plus you have non Sport numbers. Nice try. I
haven't seen anybody compare the STI to a BMW. The LS is a contender to the
throne. Not there yet but close.
If you think the LS is driven mostly by old ladies that statement alone
proves you know nothing about the car.
Don't forget to pop those pimples before you get behind the wheel of the
STI.

Loco, those were the sport numbers from 2003. I've seen 0-60 as low as 6.1, not
bad for a fat sedan, but hardly world class.
The STI is AWD 300HP with a thousand LBs less.
Give it up. You're looking foolish. The Lincoln is a mid level cruiser with
good performance, but a rocket it aint.

"Think?" I see plenty of old couples driving the LS Sport, it's target buyers.

I believe alt.autos.subaru might be more appropriate or take it to email.
