Credibility Issues

Anyone visiting this group would think that the sailors here...

....Never motor unless dismasted.
....Sail 500 mile passages on a regular basis.
....Fly their spins daily, but never in light air.
....Have regular access to America's Cup boats.
....Have sailed in and survived many horrible storms.

Now, for the most part it's all a lie. Few people here sail anywhere of note,
making a couple of hundred miles at best. Last season I sailed about 150 over a
weekend, and that was all that could be managed in a working couple's life. You
are all weekend warriors for the most part, so get OVER yourselves. If you were
REALLY sailing ANYWHERE you couldn't post here day after day, week after week!
DAYSAILORS ALL!

And that's the TRUTH.

Coming from you, we should all take that as a
compliment.
And by the way, some of us fly lighter chutes in
light air.

Anyone reading Bobsprit's posts would think that the sailors here...

...Never sail unless dismotored.
...Sail 0.05 mile passages on a regular basis.
...Spin their lies daily, but never in light air.
...Have regular access to America's ugliest broads.
...Have slept in and survived many horrible homes.
