Since your nuts enough to work in a deep freeze, perhaps you should
consider going to iraq and making some real money. I hear you could
make 150K-200K a year
doing re-construction work for KBR. Even Scotty could make 120-150
driving a truck for them. BTW thats tax free money!

Sounds good.... you got any contacts at Halliburton?

Halliburton had trucks in the NWT along the gas pipeline route this
season.......

KBR is Kellog Brown & Root, a sub. of Halliburton. Based here in
Houston. You can find lots of info on the net Im sure. They have been
running full page ads in the employment section of the Houston
Cronicle. Rumor is they have 200 workers trying to get out of Iraq.

Sounds like a good time to put in a resume. BTW they also give you 2
paid vacations a year to anywhere you wanna go.

They have lots of assets thats for sure. I used to know company people
but Ive been out of the oilfield to long to provide you any contacts
worth while. I knew a head bean counter for Halliburton, but he found
a thief in the wood pile so they let him go.

H-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-mmm

I wonder if they allow you to carry weapons on duty?

Either way... I can't be away from my parents for that length of time right
now.

Summertime in Iraq. Almost sounds like a travel brochure.

I don't know that they're "engagements", probably works more like you're
driving down the road minding your business and someone shoots an RPG at
you. I don't know that they'll arm you, but I'm sure weapons are readily
available at relatively inexpensive prices, who knows, you may be able to
get an RPG of your own, that way, you're more evenly matched!

Only if he follows the US military position of shoot first ask
questions later.

ie It's a bit hard to do much of anything after you've been hit with a
RPG

Lol, you can't be sure. I managed to get up and haul ass pretty
quickly after being hit by a grenade then a RPG.

Don't do it, love. The headquarters to Halliburton used to be in Duncan,
Oklahoma, only 30 minutes where I live. I used to contract with them about
five years ago. While Donal was bitching about "US American's" getting all
of these contracts, I said, phooey, my life is not worth those big bucks.

I stand in awe of all of the military that's in Iraq, not to mention the
many civilians trying to make Iraq a better place, and they are being
kidnapped and slaughered...not sure what to make out of it anymore. I want
out of Iraq, let them build all of those roads and bridges that were
destroyed, not to mention building water and other basic needs. I'm about
to say, screw them, let them have a civial war without us! I want my tax
dollars back! You just don't bite the hand that feeds you...
