Don't you think most commanding officers know what a shrapnel

weapon sounds like?

The Doc had to spray his scratch with bactine.

So he gets his first Purple Heart.

I heard Bush got a purple heart... when he got drunk, ran
his car off the road into a ditch. Not kidding. He had his
father get him one for Christmas.
