No longer due to the cost of printing and mailing will you get your
Local Notice to Mariners in the mail.

I think it sucks! Now you will need to memorize it,
print it yourself, or have wireless internet aboard
which is still to expensive.

Let's just hope they put the saved money
into proper vessels and weapons for the coasties.

doing the same thing up here, well almost; they will continue to mail them to you
if you fill in a request for such annually. Seems the mailing list was getting
rather large and those that did not need them were recieving them in perpetuity; a
friend of mine died a few years ago and his wife couldn't figure out how to stop them
coming.
