Alternating between stony desert and sand dune desert in the
hottest weeks for 65 years. Ice and snow become pale, faint
memories, and Mooron a figment of a fever dream. Water hoewever

Your thing or your thong that did the scaring? I'm sure he would

Soft soaping doesn't lead to a clean script at all. But yes, I
must clean the website up to something more dramatic. Got any,
er, happy snaps? (too late to offer you or Bertie a named part,
but I'm looking for singers for the Ghost Girls and I'm sure
you'd both be superb there.)

Only a couple/three of three day cruises around the Murray
Lakes. Unless you count parting the waters/mud by driving at
60mph down the dirt Strzelecki Track at 0330 with the lightning
playing on each side, the rain bucketing down, and the nearest
domiciles 200km behind and 250km ahead respetively...

Pity you weren't here when Jim Cate was asking for opinions (aka
support) on his new Mac toy. You could have told him it was possible to
do a lot of sailing on thin water, a lot faster *and* cheaper than what
he'd just paid.

Oh well. It'll be interesting to see how long he stays in denial.

Cooling down here in Tas. Was a big icicle hanging off the roof
yesterday morning, down to 12C inside. Might have to think about
turning a heater on soon, but that'll be after a couple weeks in
Sydney. Climate there is verging on tolerable now and a friend of mine
has some boats he wants looked at.

I'll be back. Things have been really busy of late.

I did hear that Bolger designed a boat with a prismatic coefficient of 1.2.
It supposedly doubles as its own shipping crate.
He also designed a 45 foot, seven masted, articulated in the middle, 18 inch
beam sailing wonder. The articulation gives you time to change tacks as you
move aft in the boat.
Another design "accordians" in the middle. It has short waterline length
for low wind and low wetted surface, and lengthens for stronger winds. Watch
the boom or you'll polka your eyes out.
And yet another wonder excels in multifarous utility. It has a slot in the
cabin roof, for the bedding doubles as the sails, a rudder in the front for
beaching backwards and docking maneuverability.
It all ends in one great crescendo with the trailer sailer that needs no
trailer. Imagine a portly Chebacco with retractable road wheels, a sprit
that doubles as a hitch mount and superior land sailing ability! Yield to
port road trains - I'm under sail!

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of
government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses,
not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!

I leave you groaning and scratching your heads,

Gilligan
