I don't have many details yet, but it looks like we're going to get this
as a donation. All I know is that it is not a fix-it boat, except for
routine
diesel filter change that is due. Sails have seen very little use.

Anyone have any experience with this type of boat?

I had a Yamaha 80. Was the best piano I ever had. Keyboard action was =
great and when tuned, stayed in tune. The brightwork was =
excellent...pecan exterior, cherrywood soundboard, I believe. If the =
boats are built as well as Yamaha pianos, then it's probably great.

I went on one at the Annapolis show a number of years ago when Yamaha tried
unsuccessfully to enter the US market. I thought it was just another average
boat. Yamaha should stick to motorcycles. Or is it PWC? Or is it stereo
equipment? Or is it musical instruments?

Hey Katy, I still have a Yamaha 80, although it's down in MD now with some
kid riding it.

I'm reasonably certain the footpeddles are missing.

Another average boat would be fine for us. It'll be a light
cruising, mostly training boat.

Yamaha has made excellent motorcyles since the 1960s, and excellent musical
instruments since the 19th century.
