Still way too fast. 1500rpm is about as fast as you want a hull polisher to
run.

And yet 3M says 3K is a safe max. Hmmm. Think I'll beleive 3M and my own actual
experience on this one. One thing's for sure. Most of you haven't even tried to
use a grinder, so you can only guess at how well it works. I've used both and
using a grinder takes more skill, but does a faster better job.
