Bermuda triangle mystery explained
No, it's not clear that Neal had anything to do with this, and Bob never
leaves the dock, so it must be true... "Australian physicists reported that giant methane bubbles, which sometimes emerge from solid methane deposits under the ocean, can sink ships." http://dsc.discovery.com/news/afp/20031020/methane.html |
Bermuda triangle mystery explained
I saw this theory demonstrated at least 10 years ago using a model tanker in
a large swimming pool. The ship sunk quickly. In an unrelated story, gaseous methane has been inexplicably rising from the ocean floor near Florida's Keys; divers report seeing cedar buckets littering the area. No boats have been sunk but a few gulls have taken ill. Scout "Jonathan Ganz" wrote No, it's not clear that Neal had anything to do with this, and Bob never leaves the dock, so it must be true... Ummm...does anyone here actually read? There are no more ships lost in the
Bermuda triangle (amount of vessels operating in Sq. miles of water) than anywhere else. That's a fact you can look up, even though it's not very exciting. RB |

Well, maybe there's methane in the NY area. The evidence is that
you're completely lost at sea. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Ummm...does anyone here actually read? There are no more ships lost in the Bermuda triangle (amount of vessels operating in Sq. miles of water) than anywhere else. That's a fact you can look up, even though it's not very exciting. RB |

He is correct and your response is so typical of what remains of this NG You cast aspersions upon his good name you cowardly beast you. you besmirch his integrity whilst hiding like a child behind the dress of the internet. Fact is, given the amount of traffic in the "triangle" there is no reason to break from parcimony; the easy explainations will do. I fully expect you to pick up your pride and realize you have erred and will nothing more to say on the subject unless you do it with the respect and diginty this man deserves............kakkakkakk!! now go back to sleep and dream of when you actually used to sail. rick On Mon, 19 Jan 2004 12:51:23 -0800, Jonathan Ganz wrote: Well, maybe there's methane in the NY area. Have you not followed the weeks, nay, months, perhaps years of vitriol that has been exchanged between Ganz and Booby? Why should you expect the leopard to change his spots in this instance? You are however correct about the veracity of the Boobster's claim in this case, were it otherwise (the risk that is) Lloyds would require additional premiums for policies covering vessels intending to ply those waters and such is not the case. Bermuda triangle mystery explained
Years for sure... I remember when booby was actually fairly normal.
He showed up one day, said he was a novice, and had something interesting to say. I guess that was before his home confinement, due to either legal or health problems. Now, he just a bloated, loudmouth, egotistical slob, who has no life outside of his cheapo entertainment system. He's still a novice when it comes to sailing, and probably sits on his fat ass on his wife's boat, sometimes with his wife, sometimes not. He's turned into a thief and a liar, usually claiming that he is the best at this or that, but generally at just about everything. It's unclear how he gets other women besides his wife to motor around with him. Judging from the pictures, they appear to be either stupid or bored. Some are uglier than others. His sailing skills are, to say the least, limited. Even with all his fancy garbage, he knows so little about sailing that he rarely ventures much beyond his own marina. Mostly, he's a hazard to navigation and to those who happen to be on the boat with him. snip the good stuff....
Good God Rick, are you mad? Have you not followed the weeks, nay, months, perhaps years of vitriol that has been exchanged between Ganz and Booby? Why should you expect the leopard to change his spots in this instance? no, just a little angry sometimes. Actually there was some hint of seriousness in my humorous response; as i look thru various NGs looking for information i am often appalled at how so few people can ruin a NG and defend themselves citing FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. I have noticed this B-S character and a few others will wade in on any seriuos exchange of information and sully it to the point serious players leave. It is not just this NG of course, many earstwhile good sources of info and exchange of ideas has been ruined by as few as 6 people...all calling each other trolls and making childish threats etc... Perhaps he and his ilk are lonely and fading and this is the only sense of challange and excitment they have left. In fairness, i should have left it as a sardonic retort. rick You are however correct about the veracity of the Boobster's claim in this case, were it otherwise (the risk that is) Lloyds would require additional premiums for policies covering vessels intending to ply those waters and such is not the case. Cheers Marty oh,,,,there WAS som info in there? I apologize in spades.....which is a small bar on the MEX-US border where i did my other apologiey...for the time i thought i was wrong..but it turned out i wasn't..... cheers, rick (i am bored tonite as well) -- Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ |

Well rick, I feel your pain. There's not much I can do about it though.
