Now there's a working dog living up to it's heritage. I've often thought that our
Chesapeakes could do all sorts of useful functions from swimming lines ashore, to
getting lines or nets off fouled props, to retrieving anchors in the morning...
they certainly proved their worth at retrieving items accidentally dropped
overboard (including a boat hook that sank in about 8' of water).

Sort of like the way you would act here in this newsgroup, except that you keep
getting slapped down.

Hey Katy,

This week-end I'm "Dog Sitting" two dogs. A Lab and a Std Poodle, so
there.

My Rat Terrier taught the Lab to use the pet door so they could go out
and play in the yard.. The Lad's Momma married a guy with a Std Poddle.
I've always had to repair the door after "Jessie", the Lab stayed here.
I'm sure those two crazies will have the Poddle wiggleing through the
door.

Hope the weather stays nice. There will be swimming and fetching in the
lake. The terrier is no probable but the Lad with the double coat is. I
have to take my camper with the heater to rub her dry but she loves it.
I'll let you know about Frenchy.

Also hope there some room in my bed for the four of us.

"Jazz" my terrier and I catch hell for spoiling "Jessie" but she loves
it.
Hope the Poodle is as happy as "Jessie

P/S having a Dog Pizza Party tomorrow nite. I may not want to stay in
bed when the Doggy Fart Start!

The only thing slapping are your flat feet on the decks of the your tug
called pompous ignorance. But seriously, why not try impress us with
your some more sailing exploits! How about telling us about your hunter
trips on the shark infested lake?

Jeff asked: What kind of dogs do you have out there? We have up to 20 dogs in our group
and I've never seen a fight that we had to break up.

That's good. Breaking up a dog fight is no fun, especially if your dog is in the middle of it. If it's all other people's dogs, you can use a hose or a snow shovel.

Snow shovel? Good lord.

We have a dog park near us that is a lot of fun. We used to go to it a couple of times a week, Dougs need exercise and the social activity is good for them too. Have to keep an eye on things though.
