That is an exceptionally stupid comment. Until now, I thought that this might
be one topic that you at least knew something about, but I guess not.

If all you intend to do is send the pictures directly from the camera to the
printing service at Wal-Mart, you might be right, but if you have any intention
of cropping and processing, the extra pixels are a boon. I thought there might
be a downside to going up to 5 Meg on my G5, but I haven't found it yet.

I'd buy the new 8 mega pixel Sony.

It's resolution is useless unless you have a very high end printer. Nice

camera
though.

Jeff, I am selling my G5. I already sold the G2. They both excel on manual
settings, but fall short on automatic and always had focus issues. The manual
focus on both is poor. With the Speedlite, they are much better, but that's a
lot to carry around.
Wanna explain how 8MP makes a diff on the average HP or Epson photo printer?
There was NO visible diff between prints in the G2 and G5, unless extremely
cropped. And the 10X zoom on the new breed of cameras just makes them far more
flexible.

How much cropping do you need? A longer Zoom retains full resolution with less
cropping.

If it itches real bad, it's likely Herpes.

If you had been a little more careful were you dipped your wad, you
wouldn't have Herpes.

Dang! Scotty used to be clever enough to avoid getting the door slammed on his
nose.
He's just too bitter and angry now.
A Siedlemann will do that to ya!

Yes, I'm poor, and dissapointed in you. But I'm not bitter or angry.
