What???

You won't be a big fat obnoxious New Yorker who knows nothing about

sailing
more than 100 yards from the marina???

Like I said, Donal. You'll love it. On the other hand, it'll most

certainly
**** you off.

Look, Bob, you've been trying to **** me off for several weeks. What
makes you think that you will suceed this time?

You, and Oz, have an unhealthy obsession with me. I've no idea why I
attract the attention of people who value material possessions more than the
truly important things in life.

Perhaps you don't like it when I point out that sailing is more important
than owning(or not) a "well regarded" name??

Achievements can *NOT* be measured by the value of your possessions.

Also .... achievement is an internal thing.

After ****ing off Scotty for all eternity with one silly practical joke, I've
never endeavored to anger anyone else in this NG. My jokes about your boat are
just that; jokes. Unlike some of the people here, my role is just that...a
role.
Sorry to dissapoint, but I have no interest in angering anyone here.

I agree 100%, Donal. If you sailed an old Catalina 22 that would be just fine.
But the reality is that a Catalina 22 may be a safer boat than a Beneteau by
virtue of it's higher quality. I value sailing, but I also value safety
inherent in better boats, such as my C&Cs.

I think you better look the word up. It can be measured by satisfaction,
material wealth and even death.
I think you need a lesson in philosophy and English for starters, After that
you might be able to discuss this with some level of scope.

Look ... if safety is that important to you, then you shouldn't leave the
dock!

You miss the real point. The very worst thing about
a Beneteau is not its construction or even its funny
looks. The worst thing about a Beneteau is it's French.

If you buy and sail a Beneteau, you're supporting the
Frogs. Donal, now, is practically a Frog himself so I
guess he doesn't mind supporting those French *******s.

But, you Bobsprit, as a patriotic American should never
fail to point out the fact that real Americans would
NEVER own a French boat. (Katysails for example
owns a French boat and in doing so supports our
enemy.)
