Enterprise started out pretty bad, but it's gotten better.

I thought Seven was over the top.

And the Voyager scripts got very spotty. Half of them we "Lets get

them in a
lot of trouble, and then they can remodulate the anti-matter frequency

phase
shift in a nick of time to save the day."

Enterprise is a refreshing change.

No doubt about it. But then 7 of 9 was no slouch either.

Yes, but, for the last couple hundred years or so, at least here in the
states, Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

BTW, some stupid liberal PC morons bitched about one of the schools'
Christmas decorations. They had to replace ''Merry Christmas'' banners

with
''Happy Holidays''.

Today, I heard that schools are no longer allowed to stage "Nativity" plays
at Christmas. Non-Christians might be offended!!

I sent my kids to a Catholic school in the hope that they would get the
Christian education that I had failed to give them. At the first
parent-teacher evening, I was shocked to discover that the Catholic priest
who taught Religious Education, was actually teaching Theology(perhaps
"Religous Awaewness")!!!

The government has laid down the curriculum for the teaching of religion.
All major religions must get equal coverage. So my kids are being taught
about Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, as well as Christianity. Catholocism
doesn't get a look in. It is really m/s/b/ad that the government feels that
it must override the wishes of parents in this way. This method ot teaching
can only result in a generation of atheists.

It's a real shame, a few bobspit type jerks have to ruin it for the
majority.

Where will it end?

I agree, it is more in the true spirit of the original series. I found =
Picaard and company to be a bit too politically correct, and much of the =
acting was stilted. In order of favoritism:

I don't watch Oprah. I've said for years that she was playing to
overwrought ninnys such as yourself.

Well, since I don't watch her and am not overwrought or a ninny =
evidenced by my position in life and my acco, plishments, I guess that =
makes you a real a** hole. Now just go off and killfile me, so I won't =
be responsible for your next stroke.

In a parochial school???? The government can do that? Here the =
government only dictates what must be yaught in the secular subjects. =
They leave the teaching of religion completely alone. Are your =
parochial schools subsidized by the government? Ours are not except for =
an occasional shared phys ed or art program where it profits the public =
school and the parochail school to share for economies sake.
