"The_navigator©" wrote That's interesting but he's reporting hearsay. He doesn't actually talk about miracles so there's no evidence of divinity. He did mention the resurection, I'd call that a miracle. However, since Josephus was borne after Jesus died, his reports aren't quite contemporary. Further, his very brief description of the Christians in the middle of a quite extensive book is more like "faint praise." Of course there were probably lots of teachers that could have filled that description. If he had known him it first hand and included corroborating evidence first hand that would have been good. What concerns me is why are the contents of the dead sea scrolls being kept secret? Since 1991 photos of the scrolls have been available to all scholars, with no publication restrictions. |
