Basic bog-standard tiller-pilot, adequate for light use on smaller
boats. Make sure your displacement is well within the manufacturer's
specifications. If not, go up a model.

The ST1000/ST2000 are not the most waterproof of equipment. If it is
really wet, wrap them up.

Raymarine are generally a good company to deal with.

I saw the displacement is not high enough so I'm going up a size.

Kind of interesting, the displacement #s, 31 foot boat at
5450 lbs, seems kind of light to me, but then I sail
full keel crab crusher, (Mooron would be happy)

Cheers
