Since I never had the misfortune of living under
Saddam's brutal regime I have to rely upon first
hand reports of what it was like. Put it this way,
I have heard nothing that leads me to think the
author was misguided.

Here's my theory, for what it's worth.

I believe that the terrorist threat in the US is virtually zero. It would
be a no-brainer to create terror in the US without even dying. For
example, propane tanks are readily available for a very low cost.
There are no incidents at all, no explosions on the freeways, in
tunnels, on bridges. The method of the terrorist is first to instill
terror, the second is to die doing it. Look at what happened with
the two snipers... they did little actual damage and killed just a
few people, but people were afraid to go out of their houses.

Now, it would be easy to say that the Feds are preventing these
things from happening, but it's hard to believe that they're capable
of stopping a few individuals from doing relatively tiny things, such
as buying a couple of propane tanks and making a home-made
fuse.

I believe there is a vast right wing conspiracy (ahahhaahahah) to
destroy our civil rights.

I. But Bush actions are weak and invalid. Our forces currently employed

NOT get the job done. More Americans will die.
A stronger person is needed at the helm. at the moment we are on Dick
Cheney
autopilot and everyone seems to know this but you. It has NOTHING to do
with
party or being liberal, you ass. Anyone can see we're not going to dent a
fanatical group with such a small effort, so why sacrifice lives? Bush
couldn't
do it right, so he did it anyway.
And now thousands will die. He's among the worst leaders of all time. Even
Nixon would handle this better!

So, you agree that lives of 1/2 million Iraqis are worth more than 10
million Jews?

Surely, this means that you would be happy to support the anihiliation of
Israel?? After all, the Jews don't outnumber the Palestinians by 20 to1.

IN some respects I agree with you. But bush will fail at this as others before
him. I'll give him and his party credit. They are among the most damaging and

An individual who sees a dozen of his family, friends and
acquaintances butchered up may be understood for calling it
a holocaust without any intent at all to demean another man's
or countries holocaust.

Your argument and question is specious because it is based
on twisting the meaning of one man's observations. You can
no more understand the death of millions of Jews than
he can. You can understand your family and friends being
butchered up and if you chose to call it a holocaust then
a holocaust it is and there is no disrespect to other groups
intended.

Get used to it. Bush is a two-term president. The majority
of people realize he's doing a great job and with the
economy doing well they will vote their pocketbook as
is the usual case. By the time of the elections the situation
in Iraq will be relatively stable and troops will be coming
home. You liberal losers have NOTHING in the way of
issues to hang your reelection bid on. You have no decent
candidates and no chance. You are on the wrong side of
every important issue. If there is another terrorist attack
here at home people will rally around the president against
terrorists again. If there is no terrorist attack people will
give the Presidents policies credit for preventing terrorists
attacks. You guys lose both ways. Best you wait and vote for
Hillary in 2008 (who will also lose).
