Good for you, Taddy! Boating toys are great fun. I don't have the best, but I'm
thrilled that you do...that's great! I'm not the jealous type and I'd love to
hear about your boat and associated gear!

Aha! A bite from Bobsprit and a bait in return!

You clearly don't recall that Flying Tadpole II, in keeping with
the nature and design of the boat, carried no electronics or
other toys whatsoever. Lady Kate carries only radio and
occasionally a GPS. I won't count the mobile phone,a s there's no
coverage over most of the Murray Lakes. If I were using Lady Kate
in coastal waters I'd fit a dpethsounder and sumlog, but there's
no point to either on my private and very shallow usually very
silty bottomed waterways. Work out why. I also don't bother with
windspeed instrumentation. Work out why. Note that i do not
include required safety gear, lights, adequate ground tackle,
charts, compasses etc. as boating toys.

I enjoy the simplicity of sailing. I admit I have changed the
line I use to lash the tiller, does that count? Also i think I'll
have to replace the bugle with a compressed air horn, as I don't
blow hard anywmore.

Ah. So _that's_ where your comprehension lapse is? I thought you
would have both recognised a quote and recognised what the quote
was.. Quick, go to http://www.mp3.com/flying_tadpole and click on

Admitted. But you only get half a tail as trophy. See my
response to Gilly's clever simulacrum of you for reasons.

As any of my Alien girls would explain to you...I'm a bottom feeder.

Please hold the dressing. I'll take the plankton straight.
