Sounds like fun. $5 an hour to wash and wax the boat!!! These jokers up here quoted me $350 to wash and wax the topsides. I said to the lady, I'm in the wrong line of work. John Cairns "mike" wrote in message om... We're in Mazatlan now, heading south to Puerto Vallarta tomorrow. Water temp is 82F and life is good. Trying to upload some pics but not too successful yet. You can read about our trip so far on http://www.sailinglinks.com/notes.htm see ya, Mike It was a great deal, John. Took him two days and cost me 900 pesos or less than 90 bucks, but the hull and cabintop now shine like they should. Had a great sail from Mazatlan to Isla Isabella, got in about dawn and dropped the hook for a relaxing day of snorkeling and birdwatching on this sanctuary island. Found a rock with coral growing underwater, and at least 25 species of every color tropical fish swiming around and totally ignoring us. Spent hours watching them swim around, like being inside a huge sal****er aquarium, then set sail about 3pm for the overnight to Puerto Vallarta. We got in here about 9am and have spent a rough day having Margaritas by the pool and gvenerally relaxing. Got some pics up from past legs, and hope to get some up from lately on http://www.sailinglinks.com/trip_pics.htm Only problem, It's too darn hot here! M and B |
