We'll be taking Alien to Bermuda next summer. Suzzane, I and all the Alien
girls will make the hop! Don't worry though, I will be in touch via my new
Marisat email set up.

I don't know how to break the news to you, so I'll be direct. You will have
to sail out of sight of land, you know. Not to worry. If you get lost, just
turn around and head west, you'll run into land eventually!

I've got it!!! When I arrive in Bermuda on Saturday, I'll look up the proper
authorities, I understand that they have one of the most powerful and
sensitive radar systems in the world. I understand they can track a dinghy
several thousand miles away!!!
Let everyone know when you're departing, I'll call them back, and they can
track you the whole way!!! We'll figure out a good radio frequency to use,
if it looks like you're not heading in the right direction they'll call you
up on the radio and say stuff like, No Bob, go right, there, that's better.
Or, no Bob, you're going to far left, I think you get the idea. And when you
arrive, they'll say, you're here Bob, this is Bermuda!! What a GREAT idea!
