Ahh... I looked at the pic again... the shiney stuff is water...
I just soaked it for a rinse after sailing.

Actually, it never had them. Everything is led aft, so there's no
need, including the jib downhaul.

The base you see is the forward chainplate that I'm not
using. You can't see it, but the deck is painted with non-skid.

A nice little raised deck sloop. A very practical design.

Why did you remove the lifelines? I think I see a base or
two.

That looks more like it! Did you paint the decks, they look
shiny. Did you put some non-skid in the paint?

I don't know about Bristol, but here's a somewhat
recent one.

Speaking of a long way to go, I saw the 'before' pic of your
Cal 20 at the Ella Vuella site and she looked pretty rough. I
know you've been working to get her Bristol. Do you have
a link or two to some more recent pictures of her?

Well, you have a long way to go, but a long journey begins
with the first sail.

Yes, I made a new page to correct the problem. I notified
Bob of the new link so I'm hoping it will link to the new
page soon. Homestead changed their software for making
pages and it seems it wrecked some of the pages made
with the old software.

I just did some juggling and now it looks like the link at
Bob's shows the new, updated page.

It does look like glossy paint. I figured maybe
Booby would do something like that but not you.
