There are if you have native HD feed off of HBO at 715-730 (real world) lines,
still far better than DVD!
You suuuure know your stuff, loco! We recorded Shrek off of HBO HD 1:85 and it
blew away the DVD in PS mode!
Not only that, but the D system shows no generational loss of material and can
copy DVDs with ease! Still better, I got the unit as an early Birthday gift!

Hoooh ahhhh!

I know enough that I wouldn't buy one (and blank media) to record movies I
could already watch in HD on a cable feed that I'm already paying for. But
what the heck .....your wealthy. At least you told us so.

Right! Nobody would EVER want a library of their favorite films on HD!
Go figure.

That's correct dipwad. Why would I want a pile of VHS tapes taking up space
when I could go to blockbuster anytime I want. And with the membership program
half the movies I get are free. OR! you watch them on your HD cable.

[splutter]

Why would someone who can go sailing every day, want to find the time to
watch "Jaws"?

Once again, Bob manages (with an incredible degree of accuracy) to present
us with the very essence of pathos.

Wow! Sorry Donal. Jaws is a classic and probably one of the top action films of
all time. Find the time? Yeah, I make time to go to museums and classical
recitals as well.
Things you wouldn't know about because you lack dimension and spirit.

I suppose that if you live in New York, then you won't be ashamed of
opinions like that.

You should move!

If you hadn't said that Jaws was a classic, then I might have been offended
by your opinion.

Let's face it Bob. You live in New York. I get more exposure to culture
when I drive to work, than you could ever get from visiting museums. I've
seen old buildings in the US. They all look new to me. Know what I mean?

I live in a modern house. It was built in 1840. The piano room was where
a carriage was kept. The dining room was where the horse was stabled.
Upstairs was a hay loft.
