| You wouldn't take an animal on board your boat?

Sure... as long as it could tail winches, hoist anchor, swab the deck....
in short carry it's fair share of the load. That ain't gonna happen with a
dog or a cat.

I've been known to allow deck gorillas aboard......

If the girls don't have any colour before they come aboard... they will have
when they leave. That blush of satisfaction....

I don't think a cat would be much trouble, if it liked sailing.

I used to have a Giant Schnauzer that went to work with me everyday at
Tulsa International Airport. He used to fly with me often. He was
attacked trained and would stay between me and the person walking up
to me. He was a very cool dog. Once he nearly drowned in the lake I
lived on. I went out with a friends on their boat and saw in the
distance a bobbing black head, which we all thought was a duck from a
distance. This dog swam about a mile offshore so he could be with me.
We had to pull this huge dog in the boat so he wouldn't drown. The
poor old dog died in surgery for a large tumor.

Tht's one of the bad thngs about dogs going overboard...they will follow =
the boat because you are on it even if shore is a swimmable distance =
away....
