![]() "jlrogers" wrote in message y.com... I had heard Catfish Row (somebody sent it to me), but none of the rest. Didn't realize Teddy had such talent and courage. Talent to write it, courage to sing it. I heard an interesting comment today. A sucessful author was speaking to some wannabee writers. He said that "every successful author" is someone who "failed to take rejection seriously". What he really meant to say was - "Determination conquers everything!". It didn't take any courage at all for Taddy to sing it. It took determination! Therefore, he stands a good chance of success. The talent is evident in the music. Talent alone has very little to do with commercial success. Many university professors are incredibly talented people, yet they do not earn great salaries. Regards Donal -- |
