Dear Group,

I wish to thank you all for the many years of good, free entertainment you've all
provided me. It doesn't really matter that I've learned absolutely nothing about
sailing here because of my high levels of knowledge to begin with. What really
matters is the laughs all you pompous fools provide day in and day out with your
utter and wholesale pretense to any sailing know-how whatsoever.

I particularly wish to thank a handful of outstanding individuals to whom I owe
the greatest debt of gratitude for their entertainment value and buffoonery when
it comes to pulling the wool over people's eyes with respect to their paltry sailing
ability. First and foremost, I wish to thank Bobsprit because he's the best of the
worst when it comes to actual sailing skills and time at the helm but he's the very
best of the best when it comes to lying about anything and everything.

Close behind comes Mooron whose nose is a **** hair's width from Booby's
rectum. Turns out Mooron never sails because he's a self-imposed shut-in who
lives in the northern wastes of Canada taking care of his elderly parents. I guess
his dedication to his parents deserves the reward of dreaming about sailing albeit
ever so slowly in a piggish full-keeler that can't get out of it's own way. It's so slow
that it's regularly overtaken by his towed dinghy!

Tied for third on the pretense list are Shen44 and otnmbrd who are refugees from
the boring motorboat newsgroup rec.boats. These two are also liars in the grand
tradition of Bobsprit because they never sail, don't own sailboats and actually think
their motoring of tugboats gives them status here. Bwaahahahahahahaahahahha!
Why Bozo the Clown has more status than this dinky duo of know-nothings . . .

Fourth place goes to Katysails. The woman couldn't sail a rubber ducky in a bathtub.
Why she can't even learn simple software so her posts are readable. Such sloppiness
is the hallmark of a failure whether at sailing or at writing. It's a good thing she suckered
some loser into marrying her so she could go along for the ride when he takes his boat
out on the polluted, inland, sewage lagoon called a lake. Otherwise she'd be just another
housewife fighting menopausal hot flashes and osteoporosis.

Fifth place goes to Haggie who has yet to sail the entire five or six years she's been
posting to the group. She spends all her time working on a rotten wooden vessel
that she and her husband are afraid will sink if ever it ventures forth from the dock.
Her posts do have some redeeming value, however, because they demonstrate what
can be accomplished in the way of making working on a boat an excuse for never
sailing.

There are lot's of other stories in the city but I said a handful so a handful is all you
get at this time. However, please remember that the above are simply the worst of
the lot so please keep in mind that the ENTIRE lot is still a bunch of wannabes.

Myself, Joe Butcher and his sexy lady Ms. Terry, Capt. America, and Jeff Morris are
the only subscribers who do any real sailing and cruising. Try to remember that
fact and treat us with respect because of it.

S.Simon - a real sailor with a real boat and a real life as a sailorman.

Simple Simon wasted a lot of bandwidth to peck out:

"I wish to thank you all ..."

Damn, for a moment there I thought maybe you were going to say farewell,
fall on your sword, croak a swansong, or pull a Jax, do the honorable
thing, vanish. But, sigh, not a sliver of decency in that gnarled and
decrepit corpus ...

Judging by the photograph you supplied ... that Cliff Claven temple of
benighted narcissism won't last much longer anyway. Looks a bit sickly
from being confined within that tiny yellow plastic thing existing on
fantasy and federal cheese handouts.

Should we start calling him, "Big Shooter"?

This signature is now the ultimate power in the universe

You forgot, I was also busy inventing the winged keel!
