Hey Vicky,

Why don't you explain why there is a superfluous "h" in your surname?

Regards

Hi there!

What's the pronunciation of the name "Cu Chulain"?

Koo cullen.

This reminds me why I was disappointed with Irish Gaelic
pronunciation when I first heard it -- it sounds English.

No it doesn't.

Well, not compared to English of course,

Phew.

but the "c" in the above pronunciation is what you get
from our *nglish friends in similar words, eg in Scottish
Gaelic place names -- unlike the local pronunciation here.

Possibly. I could point you in the direction of a few Gaelgeoiri whose
pronunciations do not mirror English ones though.

Waht a fjuckwit.
