know the feeling installation is so slow. I built this server back when
I told everyone I was creating a chat service I wanted to see
how everyone would troll in a live format grins. Also I have
services for another origination as well so I have to be
careful I don't disrupt the configuration files. CM was right the
chat service was a bomb. I do have sailors from time to time
login so not all is lost.

Uh huh, it may be neat and tidy when its installed but the hours taken
to install and get it running right are.....daunting.

We're running a Linux server here and got it going on a couple of old
laptops just for the exercise. Took days to get them working right but
worth it in performance and overhead. They are much faster than in a
Win environment.
