Did you discuss route planning with them or were they concerned because you
had no sail plan and were unaware of the weather forecast? Weather had been warning of severe stormsin our area all day. It was even mentioned on this board before we left. I judged the sky of an even cast indicating that we had time to make for wider water, where we'd have room to work if a storm clobbered us. That meant making the few short miles past Execution rocks where the sound opens up. Though there was plenty of thunder and lightening, we never felt a drop and the radar was clear. Good luck. RB |
