Pros: Confident steering and handling, optional V8 delivers plenty of smooth
and quiet power, comfortable and roomy interior, optional THX-certified sound
system.
Cons: Manual transmission no longer offered, build quality lags behind German
and Japanese competitors, not as nimble as other sport sedans in its class.
What Edmunds.com says: A smooth, comfortable American sedan with a good heart,
but it lacks the refinement and athleticism of its competition.

1. I don't believe Edmunds tested the Sport version.
2. Everybody knows Edmunds reviewers are assholes.
3. The 2003 model added a ZF rack and pinion.
4. The car as been upgraded and refined every year and reviewers have said the
2003 Sport out performs the 540i in the handeling dept. The car is not the
best but it is damn close for a lot less money.

Please direct me to the link where they claim it's better than a 540i.
