GPS Query

I have a GPSMap 76. Is there any way for a portable GPS to output it's screen
to a notebook screen? I know that there's software with charts that replace the
small cartographic chart built in.
I plan to buy chart software in time.

Bob, unless the fog is so thick that visibility is less than 300yds, then
you only have to look up to see where you are. If the visibility is less
than 300 yards, then shout to the marina and someone will guide you in.

Think about all the money that I've just saved you. No need to thank me.

You should ask Garmin. I doubt you can do it without
opening the case if there isn't an output on the unit.

Better still, Bob shouldn't turn it on. That way he won't flatten the
batteries and it'll last longer. After all, how many GPS fixes do you
need when you're firmly attached to the dock?
