Get used to it, you're betting on a lame horse.

Even a lame horse will get around the track eventually. We've been waiting

I was really beginning to think that he had mentally prepared himself

Why blame Sudzy?

It would provide Bob with a suitable cover for his fear of the sea.

Why do you want proof that I sail? I'm flattered at your interest, but I
don't feel any need to prove to you that I sail.

The following people only TALK about sailing.
Scotty
Skitchy
Donal
Jeff.
I don't believe that you sail and I'm certain others doubt it as well. Each
week you tell curt, dull stories, but never show pics of your travels. Hmmmm.

What can I say? Met her through my work. She was an executive with a
very large company, brilliant in her field, a former ballet dancer. She
was a 90 knot wind heeling me over, and driving me forward. I knew I
should bare up, strike my sails, launch a drogue, raise a storm sail,
and ride it out. But oh no, not me. I took in a couple of reefs and
rode the waves. The wind, however, kept shifting until I was driving on
a lee shore with rigging and masts over the side. The wreck, it was not
a pretty one.

Turns out she was a morphine addict. And I thought I had lost my mind.
