Actually, I believe you missed his point, which is not surprising.
BTW, was C&C a semi-custom boat builder? Or a production builder? C&C, at the height of their production was mainly a P-Builder, but was willing to entertain some special projects. I expect that, if you have enough money, most builders will do as you ask. Have you ever seen Beneteau's semi-custom series of boats? They are miles beyond what they are known for. I don't remember if the elegant C&C 51 was semi custom or even part of the original company. RB |
