If I were to regress to my thrill seeking days, I would have hung on
to my old Porsche 930 (pre-emission, high octane engine). That was a fun car for the years that I owned it. Exotic cars are like exotic women. Fun to ride now and then, but I wouldn't want to pay the maintenance of owning either one ![]() True, but you really can have your cake and eat it too. What you want is an exotic that uses an American V8. Unlike a Ferrari etc you can blow the engine to dust and can afford to buy a new one. I'm presently keeping my eye out for a Pantera L. Italian mid engine V8 powered by a Ford 351. I'll install 4 Webers and have some fun. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |
