I'm quite close to buying a new car, the rare MG-TF. I'm dealing with the
owners now and may have the car by next month, if her condition is truly above 90 points. Here's a pic of the beautiful TF. http://www.napanet.net/~scottdon/54MG_TF.jpg I'm also seeking an MGA Twin Cam to keep in PA. RB |

You'll need to lose about 40 pounds to get in it.

Real men buy sports cars with V8s.
So much for the MGAs, Austin Healy's and Lotus' cars. Loco, it's no wonder you bought an Express 30. It's as fast as a AMC Javelin...and about as refined. Oh well. RB |

I guess I was never a 'real' man. :-(

Shhh...don't discourage Bob. Having once upon a time owned one of the
old British sports cars, I think it would be ideal for him ![]() drive on rare occasion and a huge pain in the ass the rest of the time ![]() If I were to regress to my thrill seeking days, I would have hung on to my old Porsche 930 (pre-emission, high octane engine). That was a fun car for the years that I owned it. Exotic cars are like exotic women. What you want is an exotic that uses an American V8. Unlike a Ferrari etc you can blow the engine to dust and can afford to buy a new one. I'm presently keeping my eye out for a Pantera L. Italian mid engine V8 powered by a Ford 351. I'll install 4 Webers and have some fun. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |
