Her 1st Time!
19 year old Irene was never on a sailboat before, but she got the hang of
things quick, watching the windex and keeping Alien on a nice reach while the rest of us relaxed. In this pick, she just completed her 1st tack. http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/irenesails.jpg RB |
Her 1st Time!
Watching the windex? Don't you have tells on your sails?

Of course. Don't you have a windex and ap. wind indicator? RB |

Oh, sorry.

Not on the JY. Do I need them?
No windex or wind indicator on the Phoney Exlax? Doesn't surprise me! RB |

Why? Do I need them?
Of course not! I'm wondering why you even need tells on your sails. Why do you need them? Haven't you learned to trim by now? RB |
Her 1st Time!
I guess if I put a windex on I won't need tells?
I'm trying to tell you that you don't need either. They were on my boat when I bought her. Try sailing the Express without using the tells and windex. Learn trim based on how the boat responds, not just the tells and spinning arrow. RB |
Her 1st Time!
I was going to buy a huge radar to put on the JY. Thought that might help
it make 15k in 6k wind. -- ---- Steve S/V Pony Express "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I guess if I put a windex on I won't need tells? I'm trying to tell you that you don't need either. Doesn't matter. The engine was on.

Looks like it's being used to me Gay Robert Brody.

So you think that throttle control is in use? Hmmmmmmm! Bwahahahahahahha! RB |
Her 1st Time!
Note also that the sudden acceleration
Yup....the throttle is full forward, right? You and Gay Ganzy sure know your boats! Bwahahahahhahaha! RB |
Her 1st Time!
We know who set up that particular boat, so anything is possible. You don't know (nor did Gay Ganzy) which way is up or down on the engine controls. While Ganzy knows nada about boats, I'd have expected you to know something more! Guess not!!! Bwahahahahahaha! RB |

Up, as I remember, is the direction towards the sky.
Down is also the direction of the sky, Bill. Earth is a sphere. Don't you know anything? RB |
Her 1st Time!
If you had known that you might have rigged your engine controls
correctly. Man!!! Every boat I've been on had the controls upside down!!! That's dozens of boats!! Even the C&C 30 Mk II at my marina is rigged the same way! So is my friend's Catalina. What're the odds???? Bwahahahahaha! Which way is the sky again, Billy????? Bwahahahahaha! RB |
Her 1st Time!
This doesn't surprise me at all. Sounds like a problem with the
matrix. And even in the C&C/Universal manual!!! Bwahahahahahaha! BUSTED!!! Bwahhahahhahaha! RB |
Her 1st Time!
And you surely don't.

The Gay Robert Brody is an expert when it comes to
ugly runaways. Perhaps the Gay Robert Brody is confusing teen runaways with boats. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... We know who set up that particular boat, so anything is possible.
