I take it back! This express has the added double lifelines, though only in the
center! I guess nobody could fall off anywhere else! On the C&C, the stanchion bases are clear of the deck and walkways. Note the toe stubbing stanchion bases of the Express. Not exactly a sailors boat, now is it? http://www.express30.com/photos/images/DSCN1353.jpg RB |

I trust the C&C 32 has better stanchion bases than those
puny, unsupported bases on the Express. For one thing the don't have a big enough footprint to be strong enough and for another they dont have the necessary welded bale that is necessary to strengthen them. They probably lack the necessary large backing plate on the inside as well. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I take it back! This express has the added double lifelines, though only in the center! For one thing
the don't have a big enough footprint to be strong enough and for another they dont have the necessary welded bale that is necessary to strengthen them. Go look at the boat since it's obvious you can't see either. The bases are bolted thru the deck plus bolted to the toerail. They don't go anywhere.
