What a Day!!!

Started out at 3:30, NO WIND. Loafed around in light air for an hour and then
SLAM, we got steady air and big puffs to follow. Just beautiful and the boat
sails beautifully. We were in a pack of more than 20 boats, all sailing back
towards the bridges from Execution Rock. Close hauled, Alien was faster than
all, except for a J27 (I think) with orange sails! The wind held out until
about 8:30 or so....
A great sail!!! We can't wait until tomorrow!

In a 'pack' of 20 boats, Alien was faster than all, yet, there's no boats
behind you?
BTW, I would call that close reaching, not close hauled. And that looks
like a lot of twist, of is the main just that blown out?

Orange sails? Good God! Do those people have no sense of fashion?
They weren't a bright neon orange, were they? I hope they were at
least a pale yellow-orange.

I guess you can't read Hero. Or, more likely, you're
revealing details about your own homophobia, which
usually means you're in the closet.

In your case, pale pink would be appropriate. Where are the
pictures of your TV "girlfriend"??

Busted!

SAIL LOCO June 29th 03 06:02 PM

What a Day!!!

So, according to poor Loco, we were only on that ONE tack traveling in ONE
direction, heeled at 12% at 5.5 knots for 4 hours.
Now, perhaps Loco knows why he got slammed by me on his first appearance here
and why I'll never stop beating him?

1. I didn't point out the photo mistakes that got you busted .... I only
pointed out you were busted.
2. The slamming score is 257 to 1 my favor at this point.

Maybe you're smart enough to explain how a pic, showing 1/100 of a sec. of
sailing discounts anything or gets me busted?
Then again, maybe you're not!

Why are you home, Loco...we're sailing at 2:30. We'll only hear about your
mythical daysails!

Bwahahahahaha! Like beating a child with his own candy!!!
