than my .22LR Ruger single 10 revolver because the exiting pellet is

I bought it to shoot on my property without making any neighbors

complaints so far though.

I have a Sheridan 5mm pump air rifle that probably has a lower muzzle
velocity. With just a pump or two it's fairly quiet. It used to be my
mother's "squirrel rifle".
