good as rubber.

Yeah, I've seen them. The plain plywood ones we used were bigger than
a reg paddle and probably just cut using the eyeball as a jig. Don't
know was providing them, probably a park district guy where they had a
bandsaw. Used to select them like you would a pool cue.
