Is not the fools in the country, is the fact that the automotive
industry is controlled by a very small group of people. And most are
children of the founders. Lots of stock and no ability, still gets
them on the Board of Directors.


Couple that with a union that forces companies to pay people
$65,000-$70,000 a year to do virtually nothing and you can see why the
auto industry has either moved to "right to work states" or simply
given up its market share to the Asians.



What's that, the daily rate for the CEO's who bilk the corporation, and
then leave under their golden parachute?


I would wager that there is more skill required of someone running a
grill at McDonald's than a guy operating an air-wrench on an assembly line.
