Not boating but a great show.
Odd, some years we get a lot of blood oranges (Moro's) and other years,
zero
or only a couple.
You need another Moro tree nearby for consistant fruit production. If the
nearest tree isn't close by, and/or the wind doesn't cooperate to help the
bees do their thing, you get very little or nothing. I had the same problem
with my avocado tree until I persuaded my neighbor to plant one (I bought
it). Now we both consistantly get fruit every year. Every other year is best
though.

My lemon tree is to big to cover. but the Blood Orange tree is in a pot
and
is moved under a covered arbor.
I prune mine to keep it a managable size. Besides, I don't want more
lemons than I can use. I have that problem with my grapefruit tree (too
much fruit), which didn't fare as well during the cold snap. I'd miss
lemons more than the grapefruit or avocado anyway. BTW, I LOVE blood
oranges!
