Racing Question #29
On a run in heavy breeze I would tend to keep the pole close to 45
degrees and fairly low, and to use the barberhaul (sheet-downhaul).
This will diminish rolling and keep the spinnaker steady.
On a reach, my main consideration would be if the spi is worth the
hassle, in most cases not. Apart from that the main consideration
would to keep the aft of the sail as open as possible and to adjust
the polehight accordingly witch would probably be a bit on the high
side.

How do you want to set your spinnaker pole
in heavy breezes to depower the sail and gain
more control? [1 pt]
