That has been around a while. Apple people are just in denial.
You have an amusing view of the world.
Just reflecting the attitude of apple users who think they are
invulnerable.
The Apple computer users I know are careful...and smart enough to not
seek advice about computer virii, ransomware, malware, et cetera, on a
near-dead newsgroup that used to be about boating.
Some Apple users are, I'm sure, careful and follow good security
practices. Just like some Windows users.
Security is about best practices, not necessarily the OS.
Yeah, I don't download "torrents" or music/video files from usenet
sources. I have "jailbroke" my iPhone a few times, but only after the
jailbreaks have been available for a couple of weeks, and the reports
are that they are clean. I tend to install the same JB apps I've used in
the past, and under the same circumstances.
