Default A Race to Alaska...

....No motors, but no Limits on imagination.

750 miles - Sail, row or paddle but no motors - $10,000 to the winner
plus no small amount of bragging rights.

I would tend to think so, certainly if the wind is right. Of course
the sailors also have the option to row or paddle if conditions
lighten up. In my mind one of the really challenging things about
that race is dealing with the strong tidal currents that flow in and
around those islands. In some places the currents are strong enough
to create large whirlpools.
