Default Marine Plywood or plywood for marine uses + links and images

Well originally this topic was going to be about Marine Plywood or
plywood for marine uses. Insipired by the first listed URL about
plywood myths and the quasi=tests and images. But there are some
other related boat building links too. So enjoy. Mic

Plywood voids rot theory - lots of images
"One example is the idea that ABX, ACX or BCX plywood will rot away
because it has internal voids."
"I have variously been told that moisture inside the wood will
condense like dew inside a void and cause rot. Other people insist
that if the wood gets wet that this water will somehow collect in
voids and cause rot. None of these descriptions of how it is supposed
to happen has ever made much sense."

DECIDE FOR YOURSELF....

"Myths and Mis-information
Marine plywood is more rot resistant than regular exterior plywood. -
False. The difference is primarily in the quality of the inner
veneers."
