Default not a tall ship.. but does anyone recognise this 1940s ship? (link in message)

my uncle was part of the crew, but does anyone know what sort of ship
it is? designation DV3

"Warships of World War II" (by Lenton & Colledge, ISBN 0 7110 0403 X) lists
it on page 451 as:
Isles class Naval Trawler, with few details other than those you know;
became a Tank Cleaning Vessel from 1950
