Default Add-on paddle rest?

I would like to add a paddle rest to my kayak. Does anybody make an
add-on one that I can glue or screw to my kayak? One of the streams I
paddle is so shallow that I'm frequently putting down my paddle and
pushing myself along the bottom, and I worry about losing control of the
paddle. A paddle leash would just get in the way in these situations.

Have you checked out the Kayak Fishing sites? It would seem that they would
have figured this out if anyone has. Switching back and forth from a
fishing pole to their paddle and having to do it quickly and all.

I remembered the struggle I had switching back and forth the couple of times
I tried fishing from my boat and figured there absolutely had to be a
solution. Or there wouldn't be such an interest in kayak fishing.
